Pre-K Registration April 19, 2007 ECPPS Press Release # 368 Seven elementary schools in the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public School District are registering new students for Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) classes during the week of April 16 through April 20, 2007. Participation is based on survey results and need. Applications for the 2007-2008 Pre-K Program will be accepted at specific schools from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the following days:
Northside Elementary – Monday, April 16 Central Elementary & Pasquotank Elementary – Tuesday, April 17 P.W. Moore Elementary & J.C. Sawyer Elementary – Wednesday, April 18 Sheep-Harney Elementary & Weeksville Elementary – Thursday, April 19
A Make-up Registration Day for all schools will be held on Friday, April 20th from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Parents who are interested should note that applications will not be processed without the five following items:

ECPPS Kindergarten Registrations Announced for Spring 2007
Elementary Schools have set various dates and times for Kindergarten Registration: Sheep-Harney Elementary 335-4303 Tues-Thurs, May 1-3, 9 a.m.– 11 a.m. Tues-Thurs, May 1-3, 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. Fri., May 4, 9a–11a & 12:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Parents must bring the following items with them to register:
Acceptance into Kindergarten will be based on the following criteria:
An important note for parents is that immunization records and Kindergarten Health Assessment forms cannot be accepted if they are not complete. After the child’s physical, parents are encouraged to review the health assessment form and make sure all areas of the form have been marked by the doctor, including the area on the form for a vision and hearing screening. These forms must be completely filled out and provided to the school no later than September 25, 2007 or by law, the child cannot attend school. The Health Assessment will be accepted if the child’s physical is done between last August 25, 2006 and this September 25, 2007.
