teaching full time. I am a graduate of West Liberty State
College with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education-
Multi Subject K-8 and minored in Early Childhood Education
Pre-K-K. I am a native of Follansbee, West Virginia (
Northern Panhandle of WV) and it's 1 hour outside of Pittsburgh,
PA. (Brad Paisley went to West Liberty for the first
two year of college. I got to hear his songs |

husband is a sergeant with the Currituck County Sheriff's Office.

on family outings together. I also love to do creat craft

After college I moved to Richmond, Virginia where I was an
employee of the Medical College of Virginia. After five
years, I decided to move back to Elizabeth City and become a
teacher. I am married and we have one child, whose name is
Choyce Isaiah Coppin. He is the joy of both our lives. I am
the thrid sibling of ten! We have a gospel group called the
"Faithway Doves". We are all excited about the
future with our singing career.

Security Policeman. I later became a First Sgt. and retired
in July 2004. In December 2003, I received my B.A. degree in
History. Since July 2004, I worked for UPS as an Air Driver
& The National Park Service as an Interpeter at the
newly opened Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. I
married the form Lisa Berry of Shiloh, N.C. and have three

- I began my teaching career in adult
education at COA in 1970 after graduating from East Carolina
University with a B.S. in English. Later I taught in Camden
County and Pasquotank County. I became certified in Gifted

Mentoring. My first year at RRMS was 2004-2005. My husband,
J.E.B., now a retired principal, and I married in 1969 and
have three children: Eddie born in 1973, Laura born in 1979
