MATH STRATEGIES
ONE + TWO + THREE = SUCCESS
ONE: Design and implement lessons/activities based on District Pacing Guides for each grade level using math strategies and indicators. (These pacing guides are built on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.)
TWO: Use a variety of assessments (K - 2 assessments, edutest and Accelerated Math) to determine student progress.
THREE: Provide differentiated instruction to address individual learning styles and levels of performance.
SUCCESS: Include multiple problem solving strategies and customized instruction (flex groups, Accelerated Math, work stations or some other method of differentiating instruction) to:
*Review PEPs twice a month to monitor progress.
