WELCOME

Dear Family Members:

Welcome to fourth grade. We have a lot of exciting and educational lessons planned for your child. Our goal is to REACH OUT AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

“Data About Us”

A mathematical journey integrating all subject areas is one of our major goals. The first unit in the curriculum, Data About Us, is devoted to ways of collecting, organizing, and studying data. In this first unit, your child will learn how to find an average called the median and use it to represent data collected in class.

Ways to help your child

excel in math!

Reading is Everywhere!

Our focus this nine weeks in reading will deal with the importance of family. We will read stories and complete activities that show how families are similar and different. Our reading will also integrate science, which focuses on nutrition. This will hopefully get your children to see the importance of eating healthy and exercising daily.
