What’s Happening in Mrs. Whidbee’s Classroom?

We have had an interesting time studying North Carolina Social Studies and we look forward to picking up where we left off in November.  For the month of October Mrs. Whidbee’s Class will be beginning investigations in Science.  This week we will begin with “The Cells in Living Things.”  Students will have the opportunity to conduct investigations and use appropriate technology to build an understanding of how food provides energy and materials for growth and repair of the body. 

We are all looking forward to turning our class into a science lab in order to perform exciting and mind stimulating activities.  Students will be given the first Science quiz on Friday, October 12, 2007.  As always, if you have any questions concerning class activities or homework assignments, please contact me at 335-4305 or mwhidbee@ecpps.k12.nc.us
