TECHNOLOGY at CES
- All fifth graders will have a laptop for their use at school.
- All classroom teachers have access to a Smartboard as a teaching tool.
- Both the Media Center and the Computer Lab have a StarBoard.
- Computer-based programs utilized in our classrooms and the computer lab include: Accelerated Reader, STAR Reading, HeartBeeps, Kidspiration, and Study Island (can also be accessed from home).
WCAT NEWS
Do you think you have what it takes to be on WCAT Morning
News? Are you a good reader? Auditions will be begin during
the week of September 14, 2008).
Requirements to be a Morning Announcer:
- You need to be a student in Grades 3-5.
- You need to be at school at 7:15am each morning on the days that you are recording.
- You must practice the script the night before. No need to memorize it, just to be familiar with it.
- You must dress appropriately each day during the week that you are recording.
- You must get approval from your homeroom teacher and your parents.
Look for permission slips in Monday’s green folder.
