To be noted...

1.  Please be sure that transportation for every student is worked out by 12:00 noon.  

2.  Teacher Assistants should bring thier grade level down for  cafeteria procedures sessions according to the following schedule:                               8:15-Fifth grade                              

                                               8:30-Kindergarten                               

                                               8:45-1st grade                               

                                               9:00-2nd grade                               

                                               9:15 4th grade                               

                                               9:30-3rd grade  

3.  Students in K-3 should wear nametags to lunch with student number on it.  

4.  All teacher Websites should be updated for the 2008-09 school year by this Friday 8/29.  

5.  The new microwave that was donated will be put in the book/work room near 1st grade.  The refridgerator will be open for your use.  Please label items that belong to you and only use the items that belong to you. Thanks!  

6. State regulations do not permit adult meal charges against the Child Nutrition Federal Program, Therefore, adults will not be able to charge their lunches. (8/19/08 Memo from Robin Taylor is posted on front bulletin board.)  

7.  RECESS:  Teacher Assistants will decide for their group  daily if students go outside or stay in.  If students stay in, the Teacher Assistant will be in charge of the game/activity for the students and the teacher may leave the room.  TEACHER ASSISTANTS WILL NOT MONITOR STUDENTS IF THE TEACHER TAKES AWAY THE CLASS'S RECESS.  

8.  You may continue to take orders for tee-shirts until Friday.

9.  Please submit affiliation dues of $30.00 to Kerrie (this includes 5:00 PTA dues) as soon as possible.  Checks should be made payable to Central Elementary.  

10.  Please do not send communication items home other days, but save them for each Monday Communicator Packet.  This will train all parents to check that green folder every Monday.  Collect all items that are submitted to your boxes  and save for Monday distribution.
