Elementary Schools in the Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public School District are welcoming parents of rising kindergartners to register their children for the 2008-2009 school year.

To register, students must be five-years-old by October 16, 2008. However, this is the last year for the October eligibility cut-off date. A change to the law beginning in 2009-2010 will require children who enroll in Kindergarten to be five-years-old by August 31, 2009.
