Welcome to Central Elementary.  I am so pleased to be teaching your child and working with you this year.  I know that we will have a successful year.

I am a graduate of UNC-W. I have a BA in Elementary Education.  I have been teaching many years, and this is my 21st year at Central.  My husband and I have two children, Caroline and Harris.  I enjoy reading ,walking, and spending time with my family.

 I believe that each child can learn.  Children learn at different levels.  My vision is to help each child enjoy learning and challenge them to do their best.  School is not just Reading, Writing, and Arithematic!!!! My hope is that each child will have a positive and happy year in First Grade, and each child will grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Together we can make that happen.
